The ingredient of Chinese Chicken Salad

  1. 2 tablespoons light soy sauce Note 1
  2. 3 tablespoons rice vinegar aka rice wine vinegar, or use cider vinegar
  3. 1 tablespoon sesame oil toasted
  4. 2 tablespoons grapeseed oil or canola or any other neutral flavored oil
  5. 1 teaspoon sugar
  6. 1 1/2 teaspoons fresh ginger grated or very finely chopped
  7. 1 garlic clove minced
  8. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  9. 4 cups chinese cabbage Nappa Cabbage, finely shredded, Note 2
  10. 1 1/2 cups red cabbage finely shredded
  11. 1 cup carrot finely julienned, see video
  12. 2 cups chicken shredded
  13. 1/2 cup shallots / scallions, finely sliced on the diagonal
  14. 1 cup noodles crunchy, I use Changs, Note 3
  15. 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
